Cornamaddy N.S. is a sixteen teacher mixed
school. Our school is about one mile outside Athlone and is
the closest school to the Department of Education. We were delighted
to win the 'County Football League' final last year. We have
our own school band. We also have a computer room with sixteen
computers. Our school is getting bigger all the time and we
hope to start building an extension next year. We enjoyed taking
part in the 'Shannon Project' especially making our own radio
programme on the 'Battle of Athlone'. We also learnt how to
make our own web pages. We drew all the graphics on our website.
We hope you enjoy listening to our radio programme and looking
